My Morning Ritual as a Health & Wellness Coach

A morning ritual is something that I hold as a high priority! It helps to get my mind right, and my body regulated and sets the tone for the rest of the day. There are 3 simple things I do to pave the way for a successful day. 

1. I spend the first 20 minutes of awake time with my thoughts and dreams. No cell phone, TV, etc. During this time I practice my daily meditation which ranges from 5-15min depending on the practice I’m doing and follow with a brain dump into my journal. Don’t edit just let it go!! Leave all that morning angst on the paper and walk away with the power of clarity and conviction for what your day will bring!

2. Drink a big glass of water to get my digestion moving. I keep water at my bedside so it’s ready as soon as I open my eyes. 

3. I make my to-do list which I keep on my phone. This way I can check off things I’ve completed no matter where I am once there done. Little wins throughout the day help to carry out those feel-good moments and keep a positive attitude! 

Morning motivation doesn’t have to be complicated! Make it easy, enjoyable, and sustainable for your needs!
